A concept-driven survey course designed to provide broad introduction to the biochemistry, physiology, and molecular biology of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Includes one three-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisite: Chemistry 120 or 130. Prof. Okumura typically teaches this course in the fall, but several sections are available year-round.
